What Does Children's Therapy Center Do?
CTC maximizes the potential of children with special needs.
Children’s Therapy Center is the largest and most comprehensive nonprofit pediatric therapy program in Washington State. Since 1979, they have provided essential services and products for children including physical, occupational and speech therapy; early intervention services; and orthotics and equipment. In partnership with parents and caregivers, they celebrate where each child is today and work toward who they can become.
Located in Kent, Tacoma, and Burien Washington, CTC’s facilities are warm and inviting, and the staff is skilled and caring. The programs are customized and comprehensive. Therapy looks a lot like play. Yet the impact is life changing for the child as well as the family.
At CTC, they know that parents are integral to their child's development. Family members and other caregivers are encouraged to join in therapy, play alongside their child, and discover how to include therapeutic strategies into their child’s daily routine. Along the way, they offer parents practical suggestions on how to address the issues that are most impacting their child's quality of life. Together with parents, CTC celebrate big and small indicators of progress as they work towards helping each child reach his or her full potential.
CTC celebrates what is...and commits to what can be!
The result? Children make more progress than previously thought possible, and parents are empowered to meet the challenges of raising a child with special needs.
